Close to the shore, close to resources

Sea growing is a key element of Breton cultural and industrial heritage. It's naturally very close to n.orth "Finistere" coast, not far away from Brest that our company "Penn ar bed" (meaning Finistre in Gaelic Breton language) set up in 1993 in order to highlight arnazing properties of our marine resources, especially seaweed, our speciality.
The wild coast of the "Mer dIroise" and the Channel, very jagged and continuously stirred by strong sea currents, high amplitude tides and rough swells, shelters one of the nicest seaweed field in Europe, remarkably abundant and of an exceptional diversity.
